Deivos

The beginning was around 1997/98. First members were: the founder of the band – Tomasz (guitar, ex-Engraved), Maciej (guitar) and Marcin (voc., Ravendusk). In 1999 the band recorded their first demo “Praised By Generations”, where they used drum machine. In the half of 2000 drummer Krzysztof from black metal band Abusiveness and bass player Jarek joined Deivos. Maciek and Marcin left the band at the end of 2001. At the beginning of 2003 mini cd “Hostile Blood” was recorded and was released in autumn 2003 by Butchery Music. In 2004 Mścisław guitarist from Abusiveness joined Deivos. In this line-up the band started to write new material for their first record entitled “Emanation From Below” was released in Poland by Empire Records in November 2006. Thanks to Metal Mind Production, in January 2008 the record was released in Europe and in March 2008 in the USA.
At the end of 2008 the band once again entered Hertz studio to record second album called “Gospel Of Maggots”. Thanks to this cd Deivos signed contract with American label Unique Leader which in February 2010 released the record. Right after the tour finished, Jarek left the band and was replaced by Hubert (voc.) and Kamil (bas) – members of Ulcer and Soul Snatcher. The new line-up visited Hertz Studio and recorded Deivos’s third full-length album entitled “Demiurge of the Void”. It was released on 27th of September 2011 by Unique Leader Records. In the meantime, Deivos signed up with Selfmadegod Records. Summer 2014 brought the fourth full-length “Theodicy”, recorded in ZED studio under the supervision of Tomasz “Zed” Zalewski. Due to health issues Mścisław left the band. The new guitarist became Diego (Sphere, Mastabah). On November 2016 band recorded “Endemic Divine” again in ZED Studio. The release date is 10th of February 2017.
